Art of defence map inspired by Command and Conquer Generals!

Boy, this is a tough nut to crack. Failed on my first 3 tries, so I guess I'm not a Master of Defence yet. ;) I'll wait for a score by the author before I'll try again....

It's possible, I've already established a good defence, but I haven't got enough time now to fully finish the map.

UpperKEES

I also have a new idea how to handle this one. Will try it later on, as I don't have the time either now.

I finished it by cheating. I don't know if it's possible to play this fair. Could be.

UpperKEES

Well, at least one score has been submitted at the moment, so apparently it's possible. Or did you submit your score with a different name? If so, please don't; the bug will be fixed in the next update and those scores are no fair indication for others. If you didn't: great, thanks! :)

I didn't submit my score because I used the bug. There is no way of knowing if that submitted score has used the bug or not.

UpperKEES

Well done!

You never 'really' know of course, but when a score is a lot higher than possible in any other way, you can assume the bug has been used. Luckily not many maps suffer from it, as Odin City is often moveable anyway.

Im the author of the map, and indeed the map seems impossible, i dont see how that guy finished it, ill explain how it happened, i made and tested the map, but before uploading, i made the interval of the creepers lower, WITHOUT testing, now i see its possible, cause someone submitted, ill keep on trying, but i already failed alot, sorry for it, and its not my intention to upload impossible maps, just to waste ur time :/

Edit: can i still delete this map or should i just leave it up, i rather not have bad comments :(

Thanks for replying Artie. Anybody can make a mistake, but it might work out fine. Yesterday we had the same thing: an author admitted that his map couldn't be finished, but then somebody else did. To me a hard map is a good map, so I don't mind trying (as long as I have the time); I see it as a challenge.

But to prevent these kind of mistakes in the future you could upload a score before the map has been approved (or even uploaded). Read here how to do this. It will also speed up the approval process.

Oh, and welcome to the forums! ;)

Edit: we leave it up; we did not only have fun, but it might be possible as well, assuming that score was not submitted by abusing the bug. I might try myself later (will be busy this weekend).

since it is nearly impossible, i think we should share tactics for it.

i know this much: you have 1.5 minutes to set up defences
at 1:40 all behind the ridge is fillled to 2 heights
if you don't do shit, you die at 2:20
