Custom map contest. Map choices.

In code maps there is a contest running for different maps could we do the same in custom maps?

EDIT: Ok, I`ll run this contest unless there are complaints. i like the idea of posting your alltime favorite map(s) in this thread. I`ll list them in the top post, after we get a nice list I`ll choose 5 maps from the list (no authors will duplicate in this contest, 1 map per time). i`ll explain more in the contest thread. feel free to start posting your favorite maps.   (If you can please give the map name, number, and author. Max of 3 maps per day :) ) I started us with a list of Great or Notable maps. Please nominate more!

Maps with a strikthrough through them are in a contest or have been in a contest and can no longer be in another contest(unless it is a differrent one). There is a thread in random about the contest, if you wish to nominate other possible maps so so either here or there. Thanks.

sure thing, just need to get the best (from some sort of vote) of maps and use those. So em, maybe we ask random people to post their favourite map of all time that hasn't been mentioned before. E.g. someone says they like the Shipyard map the most, so someone afer that couldn't say the same thing. Hold that for a bit and you got some maps. Otherwise U could do some other pattern e.g. every week we vote on group of maps that starts with the letter a then b etc. Just ideas, and the last one sound neglible. Otherwise though, who doesn't like contests :) ?

Ok my favourite map is, *cough*The waters of death*cough* , nah I liked ETF (whatever number it was) beginning of the end a lot. There was also another one with pacman in it but I can't remember the author name *facepalm*.

As for me. I personally liked map 107 by Grabarz19.

My map is the first one listed. :D I'm honored. Also, fun fact, that is the most downloaded cw2 map of all time. I'm quite happy about that.
