Multiple nexus glitch?

Why would a nexus (incomplete) with 169 health left and not being fired on explode when I destroyed another nexus on the map. (Also incomplete.)

Custom map ETF 11; I do have a save file from immediately before. (but I don't know how to do anything with it.)

The save is in

%appdata%\CreeperWorld2\  folder.

Look for the number of the save slot (or the quick.cw2 file).

Here attach that file to your post.

Fully you should mention that, but I thought I was simply too slow, never put 2 and 2 together.

Here's the save file. I suspect the same thing happened on a different attempt earlier, but since I was actually firing at both at the time I thought my timing was off. (Locked up the game and I had to close.)

On my machine the frame rate dropped to 1.9 fps, very close to appearing "locked up."

I have this problem every time when I try to complete Bren System - Distant Outpost Part 1. A savegame is attached.
When I drop in the final CB, the game freezes, subsequently crashes. When I finish the Nexus, the game starts to use 50% CPU (i.e., 3 cores of 3.2 GHz) and multiple GB of RAM; this has to be related to the crash.

The only issue I have with your observation is that AIR soes not use multiple processors. It is puzzling.

Update: Virgil is looking into this. He can recreate the issue from a save game. Thanks for posting those.

Yeah...
That was kinda funny.
I apparently broke this in a prior update.  The nexus was destroying itself over and over again... that's where the huge number of explosions were coming from and the eventual hang.

A new build with a fix will go up shortly.

--Edit--
The patch is up.  You can now complete your save games.

Thanks for the quick response and fix. Keep up the good work!
