Show Creeper Fields

What exactly is this option I see.  One level I remember seeing it on is Minion Surprise (Bonus 3), but it doesn't seem to do anything.  So what does it do exactly?

It allows you to see 'internal' fields that manipulate the creeper in various ways on the current map.  Pull up a few of the code missions that state Fields: Yes and you'll see them.
