CW simulator/full game maps

The downloadable file in this post will give you one _picture_ for each of the maps in the CW simulator & full game.

Set them as a custom background in the map editor so u can recreate any of the maps from the CW simulator or full game.

Its a ".zip" file, so make sure you unzip/unpack it.  Its not a big file though, only about 2.5 MB.  There should be a total of 60 pics.

If you take more pictures, you need to take them in .png format.  .jpg compression messes with the edges of things.

The pictures are accurate, though.  And they work very well with the creeper world map editor.  Only complaint I have is the aforementioned .jpg thing and the fact that these are pictures rather than .cwm files.

Noobsauce, its says right in the first line of the post that it is a file of "PICTURES", which take up much less memory making them easier to upload/download/move around than if they were their .cmw equivalents.

If the quality is not first rate, sorry, though as long as u can determine how to make the map without having to ask wats wat, then they r decent enough for now.

I will save any future pictures of this nature, (maps for expansion packs or other free ones like those in the simulator), in .png format for better quality.

Yeah, I've been getting mail asking for pictures or maps of the game contents so I was hoping this would help some of the people asking for them.  It makes sense for it to be sticky (in this forum) for a bit... perhaps until some people recreate some of the maps from the game.

That's all I really wanted, sorry for the heavy-handed approach.

I'm gonna go and test out the new cwm editor (the one with black holes) with your map pics.

I've noticed that your pictures don't show the location of the ending vortex.  And, if I understand the game correctly, they can't show the location of the ending vortex.  ...How would we get around that?

that can be fixed by taking a pic of the screen once the vortex has appeared, which means ud have to basically beat the map to get said pic, might do that myself at some point, but ill probably just forget so just put it were u want it.
