That Bertha was very much appreciated and nade for an enjoyable end game. It didn't dampen the challenge at the start as you need a pretty solid foothold before you go for it.

Then you should of got it a lot earlier  ;)

I sent waves of cannons up there and then sent my CN back into space and landed it there for a second to build a collector. You just need a base that can be left unpowered for a little while without disaster occuring.
