The new unit is a good idea, but it is just too slow right now to be efficient. You need 6-8 to make any dent in the map, and they gobble up all of your bluite up to that stage. Or maybe the map itself is not good enough for a demo : you don't produce enough bluite before being halfway into it to have enough working units.
