A bug has been found with the map.  If you disable the Marine's shields they will come back on when you reload the game.

Nice and hard map, but at some point halfway out, I saved the game. On reload I noticed that the game does not tick when you unpause it. The pause text goes away, but the time does not tick. Creeper flows, but nothing is emitted and none of the enemy units does anything. Nor do they take damage.. No energy flows.

I'm not sure where this bug would have come from... it sounds like the game got into a weird state and broke.  I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem yet, so hopefully it's a one off?

General tips:  Look for ways to kill ERNed opponents from a distance, don't be afraid of pausing to examine the map, a field generator is really strong for pushing, and take care of the bertha in the corner (stop it from building before it completes and if it does kill it).  The bertha's build cost is higher than a normal bertha so it does take a while to finish, and it's quite vulnerable.
A more specific tip: toss a spore in the SW corner really early.  It's not strictly needed but the breeder there will do good work helping keep the anti-creep count down, so it's a good use of a launcher cycle.
