That was fun. A nice FPS map for us all to enjoy.
I liked the map terrain and the difficulty level. And appreciate using one of the latest versions of Auri's FPS tools which has queueing reasonably sorted.
My only issue was that i couldn't really see where i was shooting unless i was dipping my toes in the creeper.
Using the FPS scripts(i think it's a variable in the player.4rpl script) which makes you as short as a tower can become frustrating for some players as the buildings are really hard to look around/over.

That was fun, thank you muchly. The pacing for power curve and AI assisting seems to be the best yet.

It felt like the computer did a good job of keeping up and helping out. It did get stuck on the last emitter (bottom-left), where it stopped building bottom-middle at the narrowest part near the void. Using right-click in a few key spots seemed to get it to wake back up.

I agree with dwilkinson, the height being same as the towers was slightly uncomfortable.

Excellent to see more people stepping into the FPS zone, enjoyed this one. Was a bit of a fight without it being a slog.

Ah, so perfectly satisfying. Idk if it's on purpose, but AI is perfectly balanced to be barely capable of doing everything on its own.
What's up with greenar tho? Is it just for looks or something?

Played this map twice, both times the AI broke when I got to the middle bit and needed to clear both directions. I would follow me to the end in the first direction I went, but would completely not build going the other direction. As far as design and difficulty, etc this map was pretty fun.

I am encountering a strange bug with this map. First I found it odd that there was no description, thumbs ups, tags or discussions activity on the colonies listing in game, which is obviously incorrect data. Based on the feedback others left here, I was excited to play the level but when I load into the level the map is blank and unpausing the game causes it to crash. Any idea what's going on? Game version incompatibility or something?

Binnes

Are you using the most updated game version? I'm on 1.4.8 and everything looks normal to me.

Ranger Von Danger

yep, 1.4.8 and ive tried everything from updating drivers, restarting pc and reinstalling steam. Very unusual

Maybe the download corrupted somehow?

You can try deleting the map so it would download again.  It would be in Documents\My Games\creeperworld4\colonies\maps\1400 as 1444.cw4 (you can paste that directory into windows explorer and it should put you in the right place.)
I'm known as Auri in cw4.

Same problem here.

Old topic, but as others had said the AI stops building towards one route for some reason, the SW corner.  But if you buy suppress you can nullify it for enough time to win at the end.

AI refused to populate Eastern section. Possibly some confusion with fabricator aura? I had to visit each nullifier and charge them manually to achieve victory conditions.
