I laughed when I finally got into the castle and saw the "tyrant" on its "throne"  ;D
This is a fun map, nice work! It's good to see another FPS map maker out there making more content for us FPS players  ;)

Nice one. enjoyed the map. It felt similar to Autobuild FPS 6(By Auri), probably the map shape and the "fort" with the strongest emitter on the map that made me think this. Hope to see more maps :)

And i appreciate the energy pod at the start, with the fabricator you can keep that box full for a good long while, and at the same time charge up the rift lab's power reserve as they're both in range, makes for a start where you aren't power-starved

A solid entry in the FPS space. Seems pretty well-balanced, there were quite a few times that leaving one place to try and take land would result in the creeper overrunning another.

There's some clever bits in the terrain - little details, like the corrugation atop the throne, the toothed battlements around the castle. More details like that would go a long way. Adding more smaller spaces could help capitalize on that - memorable pieces in place of the large swaths of fractal terrain.

I especially appreciate the FPS tutorial in the logs; the gamemode has amassed quite a few complexities, and anything that can help new arrivals is nice.

I thought this was very nicely balanced and designed (The usual high points: areas that push back when you leave them, high hills to use the fabricator, etc) - and also loved the parapets and throne. Really impressive for what seems to be the author's first try! Odd that upgrade queue-ing isn't available.

They said it was based on the scripts from 6, and queuing didn't appear until 7, so you can figure it will probably show up in their next map.

That's pretty much exactly it, yes.  I started working on the map after 6 was released and was having some success getting that working.  I wanted my first map to be light on the scripting side, so it never even occurred to me to try switching it to 7 after it was mostly ready.

Future maps will likely involve more scripting on my part.

On a more general note to those who responded in this thread, thank you for the supportive words!
