QuoteProbably too easy.

Yup.  WAAAY too easy.  Completed all objectives in just under 14 minutes and only used 7 ERNs.  Would have done it in far less time if the Greenar wasn't clear on the other side of the map.

How did you post a 7 hour playtime though?!  Earlier today, it was someone with a 3 hour playtime who called their map a "Trial" which was easily beaten in 10 minutes.

Spoiler
I started in the Bluite filled corner with all the flip breeder and pause-microed the start rather than starting in the obvious corner with the resource tiles.  I had an insane amount of AC overflowing onto the map in the first couple of minutes and then I sent my lone sprayer to get the AC breeder going.  Then it was just a matter of getting a ton of mortars built.  I had the whole center completely encircled just before my beacons came up.  Eggs weren't a problem and crimson only presented an extremely minor threat.  I lost three units due to not paying attention.

I recommend watching Knuckle Cracker's excellent tutorial video on mapmaking.  Maps consisting of default theme level 1 terrain aren't very interesting.

Well, as the description says, it's my first level. and yes, I literally had no idea what I were doing xD. how I posted a 7 hour playthrough? well, I didn't notice you could actually cheese the level like this. probably not going to update it though.
thanks a lot for the recommendation, if I'm ever going to create another level I'll take a look at the video first.

the proverbial "stroll in the park". :D Nice, relaxing level. I see it already garners some thumbs-up, which means other players like it as well. Not all levels have to be hard, so this makes a nice change.

at least it is if you cheese it. not if you play it the intended way though, my playthrough this way was about 7 hours. to be fair, I usually like to take my time, but yeah. I don't blame anyone to take the easy way though, the most important thing is to have fun after all. also, I know that there are definitely things that can be improved, but I probably won't update it. if it aint broke, don't fix it.

So, even without "cheesing" it, this level should take at most 60 minutes. It was quite fun. Sometimes stomping the enemy is fun. If you upped the max amount of creeper from the default 3.5 to something like 20, this map would probably end up being a brutal slog thogh.

thanks for the hint, I'll keep this in mind in case I'm ever going to make a challenging map.

You still have to beat the map to publish it.

Very nice. fun map! Not every map needs to be a nail biting challenge. This map had a lot of thought put into it. I like the little details. That you took to time to map out energy tower positions between bluite miners,. that kind of thoughtfulness I really appreciate!

I look forward to more! :)

P.S. I don't really know what intended vs. cheesing is here. "Intended" really never translates. We all see opportunities in different ways. I considered starting with the bluite rocks/flip breeder corner, but;
Spoiler
But I started in the corner with the mining tiles and breeder. (I guess this was what was "intended"? )
Power managed to keep things moving fast, had two miners one on power, then one on bluite both with ern, and then as soon I had two sprayers built, one stayed in place always on, the other was sent straight to the flip breeder corner with the bluite rocks and started that working. My next priority was an airstrip with a mix of bombers and AC bombers, so i could dominate the flip breeder corner.
Then porters to get control f the Reddite corner,. which = ARn portals in all four corners...

...from there it was indeed a nice pleasant stroll in the park. I could have finished much faster than I did, but once I get a good foothold, I like to build stuff :)  So as intended, I did it in 30, but could have halved that if I didn't want to take full advantage of all that Greenar and build 10 rockets and go into the middle with 60 some odd orbitals :) :) :0

I am sure there are dozens of variations. :)
