Can i just say, I love the work you put in to these maps, i've just started and am happy to see the resource numbers on the factory button.
EDIT: Just finished and saw many more things that made me smile along the way :)

Shatterstep

Consider me blown away. All the powers and the map and objectives are interesting. Well done.

one small issue i noticed that may or may not be intentional is the lack of a micro rift close to the rift lab, other than that, wonderful map as always

Yeah, that's a complete accident.  I thought for sure I put one there, but no, it's only the two.  Luckily the distance isn't too long on this map, and you can use the fabricator to smooth out supplies a bit.

Edit: Also realized I left a potential bug in there that I'd meant to fix.  If you're on a 4:3 resolution, the active powers list might be off the bottom of your screen.

Phenomenal. Ran it several times to refine my times, and... honestly, this is a work of art. The multiple, escalating fronts make the FPS-AI combination shine, and the active abilities are a wonderful design choice. They could just use a little more impact - the silence and lack of VFX doesn't do them justice.

Here's a thought... would the active ability system work as an interface for orbital weapon control?

Regarding balance, the heat aura is extremely strong early on. It's a one-point upgrade that out-damages anything else the player has access to. Between that and the shield aura, I could basically roam the map with impunity from the very start, scooping up upgrades and laying AC on flip breeder before settling down for territory control. It might be worth scaling the auras similar to weapons so they aren't such a powerful alternative to direct combat.

When I tested, it was something like <900 pixels vertical resolution made it clip off the end. I figured that was good enough, since there's really no way to see screen resolution. Putting the text more towards the middle of the screen is also more obtrusive, and might overlap with the crosshair if you have enough lines.

Edit: I see, you made your own version of AddText to do the powers.

What a great map! Loved this one as well. Managed to do it auras-only, but it was a bit of a struggle. The upgrades were really fun, especially the nullifier and ac spawner

VolcanoSheep

Very fun map, thanks for making this. Never had much of a need for the powers though, but it was cool using them.

Loved it, as a suggestion can I ask you to put the up/down keys for the powers next to the power's title text? like (^Q)Active Powers(Zv)
(I understand it isn't that simple but I would assume you can use the auto-key-replace thing to do that)

I will say due to the nature of when we get the powers and what we are facing the ac breeder really has a hard time shinning, I tried to suppress the final emitter by placing a bunch of ac breeder but gave up after only a while when I realized just how little that was doing. (I'm assuming it was breeder limits that might have stopped a lot of that but I'm not sure)

HeyHeyHey

I have played this map way too many times. they are super fun, Well done.  :) :) :)
