i couldnt find enough time starting on the left, neither starting on the totems, and i can almost make it by starting on the bottom and i still failed

Here is a strategy that may work...

Use a guppy to take out the 15-spore tower.  The trick is you must time this PERFECTLY.  Very specifically, you'll need to knock out the northwest emitter first, then get a guppy to knock out the 15-spore tower.  If you time it perfectly, you can knock it out with a few game seconds to spare.  This map is too difficult to beat if you don't knock out that tower before it launches its first volley of spores.

yes...thats what i almost managed to do, setting a base inside those small islands and getting a cannon to keep the digitalis line at bay...
only managed to get one and a half emiter haha


i guess i'll do some attemps with the guppy start

Interesting. I managed to take out both the 10-spore and 15-spore towers before they fired. Just barely. But then got overrun by creep.

Had just about decided to quit but maybe just taking one tower out... hmmm. Might give it a go.

I have taken out both spores and got established but then noticed there are no accessible totems. No forge no fun so quit. I am not one for turtling and this looks like a slow turtle!

Noticed on the easier map, if you flood the south east things in AC they are destoryed.

Yeah ok. The easier version of this is definitely more enjoyable, and that's coming from a person who loves to turtle. I would've preferred having some kind of access to a couple totems but facing stronger enemies... but this was definitely a great challenge.

To me, the key is securing the 10x pump ASAP. Well, once the spores are dealt with at least. The faster you can get AC amplification feedback going on, the better. This map required a lot more micro'ing than the previous map, which detracts from the enjoyment (for me, at least).

All things considered - still a great map and definitely one that will probably have about a 2% completion-to-download ratio, lol.

Oh good grief!!
Same as the "easy" map, but minus all accessible totems (not even by suicide-guppies).
Also, minus one PZ at the start.

Without the forge improving my beams, it becomes nasty.

Have anyone who win this map and can give any suggestion? I have tried many times, and find a way to nullify the 10 and 15 spores and build a simple base on the left top, but still hadnt any idea on what to do next. Is it possible build a defence against 2000/0.03 and push without any tech?

The one of best possible startup may be (I have tried many many times and this startup may be perfect enough):

1、Build a connon and nullify the left top
2、Quick clear the creeper around it and move the connon to the left middle(with only one connon can stop the net from climbing for a long time). At the meantime build a Strafer to take the net on left down to stop it spread(you should start building it before Nullifier).
3、Build a reactor and 8 beam tower before first 30 spore attack(8 tower is just enough for 30 spores, although you may need to SL many times to rearrange them),while all rest energy should be investige into guppy.
4、Stop supply beam and use your first guppy to nullify the 15 spores source, remember stop supplying guppy before it take off and resupply Strafer, and supply beam to defeat 30 spores
again
5、Remember build some basic defense against creeepr, and keep Strafter flying to attack left down net, you could nullify the 10 spores source.
The startup is best enough in my opinion, you would only need to take 5 spores per min and 40spores bombard period, may save lots of energy. But economic is quite weak and have to be struggle to survival the next few minutes. And I still see no hope on the terrible creeper, runner and the final boss without any techs.

All steps above should be extremely energy and time organization, wasting sevearal seconds or energy could lead to failed the objective. And this may be the only solution the auther required?

OHHHHHHHHHHHH
I finally complete this map, and with the fastest time recorded! 39:08 ingame and 90 mins in reality, almost one time try with only 2or3 SL.
This map doesnot too hard as most people believe. In fact if you could find the correct strategy, this map turns into a relately easy walkthrough(among Jason's map)!

Here is the my strategy to pass this map

In the first few minutes, you should complete the following mission:
destory the emitter
use one connon to stop the network from reaching the highest plain(if you cannot cut it with one connon, just build addition one).
build a PZ reactor
destory the 15 spore tower before it launch
build 1-4 reactor
build 5 beams

* I have try the stategy that destory 10 spore tower and find that it waste too much time, and its reward does not match its cost, as the hardest part is the giga-spore and not the 5 or 10 spore.

After that, you should do nothing other than build your economic  and expand your territory towards the east.This is the most important part in this map. The faster you push, the easier the map.
Once you have fiil reactor on the highest plain, try to push as fast as possible, and capture the 10x pumps! Instead of building sniper, you can use 4 strafer to cut the network and let robots die to save lots of energy,

With some small arrange(trained from the other map by Jason), I push so quickly that i have reach the 10x pumps before the first giga spore, and capture the large pumps from that time. You can feed the pump with AC, and 10x AC are generated, and turn into 40x AC in giga spore tower, and finally turn into 160x AC across the map!  Quickly turn this map into a AC ocean, which is quite enjoyable!

by aggressively juggling beams in and out of the power zone. Then the wave of spores happened at hte same time as the main spores and took me out. :P
