Yeah, those options really make it a lot more convenient to use, and less micromanagement and lag.  Also, Eggmatism is indeed an apocalypse at full power, I think that could destroy virtually any base, even one with 10 ERNed snipers and a few dozen ERNed mortars.
I'm known as Auri in cw4.

The creeper lord with a ton of eggs is ridiculously overpowered and I love it. I'd very much like to see these changes made to the harder version of this map.

Really great map! Solved all the problem of having to spam down specials constantly.

Creeper lord is way OP and hilarious fun - Beat it in under 20 mins with just one creeper lord and spamming a bunch of eggs in the starting bit, it's way more powerful than the flood - maybe should be more expensive too? Or maybe same price but less HP?  You can pretty much sit it over a couple of anti air turrets and let them shoot while he summons eggs.

I agree completely with this statement, except that a couple ERNed Missles could stop the creeperlord further away, thus making it survivable as half the eggs drop partway.

Yeah, the Eggmatism is getting toned down. It is meant to pull eggs at a speed that a few clumped snipers can stop (though the creep that spills out will require several mortars to stop).
Basically weaker pull speed, higher cost to cast and maintain.

But fear not, Eggmatism is meant to be powerful, so I won't nerf it into the ground. Just not a "I win now" button.
(EDIT: At the moment, you can actually 'sling' eggs by cancelling the power once the eggs overshoot. I killed the Rift lab this way while the Thors were still alive and armed.
Sidenote: The way Thors are coded, they only ever shoot at spores and airsacs. The Creeperlord can waltz right up to them as long as there isn't any nearby missile launchers.
Ever seen a Thor desperately trying to snipe down 400 angry flying eggs?)

The current settings was just such ridiculous fun that I figured I'd release it as is. (Wasn't even planning on releasing the map, was an old map I was just using to test the new variants versus the old).

But glad to hear that so far people think the new variant is better to use than the old.

I think the Thors will target them if there is absolutely no other targets for them.
Edit: Tested. Nope.

Creeperlord makes for an interesting sacrificial unit. if you charge them forwards then have all your spores targeted on them the spores will target where they die until a new one is built.

The grounder making eggs can drain snipers pretty hard. They recycle the creeper the eggs release when they are sniped into new eggs almost instantly.

Couple of notes. First, the "destroy" button on special units doesn't work until they finish building. Second, I would advise changing the absorption so that they retain at least a thin layer of creeper beneath them, because as it stands skimmers have a habit of running into the dry ground they create and wiping out before doing anything useful.

Good points, I will work on those.

i must be doing something wrong.  if I deploy teh creeper lord to early it is destroyed out of hand.  too late and there is nothing for it to do.  I'll have to play around some more but not sure yet  if this is better than previous version or just another way to  skin the cat

Deadl0ck

Absolutely love this version compared to the older ones. The creeper lord is WAY OP, once you build one and have eggs, you basically won the game, even if you've not yet made it into the second part of the map yet. But that is a lot of fun in it's own way.

flamewolf393

The previous version was MUCH better, this version is way too easy, i just spammed a few grounders (storing up 27 shots each) with blob eggs from my starting area and expanded out from there as they destroyed stuff. I never once used my emmiters/launchers to expand, just to hold what my blobs took. As I expanded I just built more grounders and eventually I was was producing hundreds of the little fuckers.

I didnt even get around to trying the creeper lord, and the floods still take WAY too long to build (almost 15 minutes to make one even surrounded by emitters)
