Clearly took a ton of work to make, but after a while, it's just a weary trudge  - like trench warfare, progress is counted in meters and takes a lot of time.

I''m half-way through, but it remains to be seen if I'll ever finish it.

This is certainly a map where you want to expand as fast as possible at the beginning, I had all the squares secured pretty quickly and only had to battle my way through a few of them.

Not really much of a strategy spoiler, but I took all but the last 2 rows of squares immediately by making sure my anti-creeper breeders got working right away, and building my entire base before unpausing and using Porters to get my power distribution network building all at once.  Rifts help a lot too.
I only had to slog my way through the last two rows of squares which wasn't bad, most of the time was figuring out how to progress. Probably could have secured 1 more row at the start but was being somewhat cautious.

I haven't finished either, but am just starting to attack the main creeper base.
