as commander of Space Ship 1 you have to do what captains always do - win the map. Easy task, with just a few twists. Warning: You have 3 guppies at the very beginning - I suggest you spare the last one (but do build it!) You will understand what I mean, should you come to a dead end. As always: I would appreciate comments/feedback.

I'm sorry but this is just annoying. I'm sure there is a neat trick but it is not obvious.

wasted about half an hour on map, came to see if there was a clue on the forum and all i see is a smug comment from map creator... so went from annoying to even lower.

Martin Gronsdal

what do you want me to write?

give away the solution?

the CN needs to go north. That's the strategical goal

Riskbreaker

as with any non linear challenge, we explore things looking for a result that will move us forward.

Spoiler
we can see the red nuke behind CN, so the map didnt even ask us to guess we should orbit the nexus.

all we had to do was...explore what we had.

Martin Gronsdal

indeed.

But still kudos to newer players for trying. I would have not known what to do when I started to play CW3 either.

nice puzzle at the beginning, havent seen that used very often as the break in. cool map!

D0m0nik

Yeah sorry, I see it now. I am just rubbish at puzzles and find them frustrating. It is a smart trick.

Whistler

sorry i am a moron what secret technic is used to get the required terp and nullifier up top
cant land the command center cant send a guppy up
can start by going south need the terp to progress

Whistler

lol i get so paranoid moving your CN that i never do it anymore

Johnny Haywire

Pretty cool map! I must be getting the hang of your maps - I think I spent only about 10-15 minutes real-time on this one and I'm thankful to get a smaller map every now and then from you  ;)

I saw the "trick", but it took me a few seconds to figure out how to
Spoiler
get power to it.

Ah, figured that out. Next question: How do I
Spoiler
move the CN to do what I figured out?
[close]
Ah... you don't have to actually do that - cool!

I know how frustrating it is to not be able to see the solution, so if after all the hints on the forum if ya still can't figure it out just ask a specific question and I'm sure someone will give a helpful answer.

Thanks for the map! Great work!  ;D ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

It's a Martin Gronsdal map.
so the VERY first thing you do is space your CN, to see what the ground and any hidden features under it is.
Then restart and actually play.

This is true for all of his maps!
