I dont know if im just slow or not getting it, but any advice on Crux would be appreciated.

You can win it by building lots of collectors and beating the creeper back up the hill, but an alternate startegy recommended by someone else here (have you used the "search?") is as follows:

Fly Odin City to near the emitter pool:


Use one mortar to bomb the creeper pool until the creeper starts retreating


Victory!

Lol, Doh! I forgot that you could move Odin City. Yea, i used the search, but nothing came up with crux, anyway, thanks for the help. :D
