Some maps has only a few upgrades possible ,
so it would be nice if we could change the upgrades during gameplay .

This would make game tactics more advanced for those who try to beat the best score ,
and maybe easyier for newbees as me =P

i prefer it as it is, besides the energy upgrades stay the most important throughout the game especially if you're going for the high score. if there's multiple upgrades available i ussually get the upgrades in this order:
faster build
increased energy output
cheaper buildings
and then the other 3 vary depending on the map

I just reached the chapter where you find the first upgrades and tried to save them only to be quite baffled by the fact they don't carry over.

What about adding more upgrades to choose from ?

Like more firepower for blasters and another upgrade for the mortars and so on .

Or / and lvl 2 for the upgrades thats there already ,
after upgraded lvl 1 ofcourse .

Maybe someone else has an great idea of what could be added in the upgrades .

Siccles

well there could be other ways the upgrades could be used, maybe temporal boni which are way stronger than the permanent ones, but only last a minute or so (and consume the upgrade) like:

decreasing ammunition consumption of blasters and mortars by 50% for 30 seconds or making everything being built way faster for a limited amount of time.

You also could "disessamble" the upgrade for a one time energy bonus (like 50 energy, which would be added one time upon use meaning that storages would be required to use it efficiently)

Aurzel

thumbs up to siccles i like that idea :P

We need upgrade trees for all of the weapons and structures in the game when CW2 and bigger maps come out. Right now they just aren't as needed.

Aurzel

when we're dealing with huge maps 10 times the size of the current one with odin city able to produce 160 packets per second then we'll talk about upgrade trees :P

Aurzel

imagine that, plus there'd be about 10-15 different elevations
