Please play this map only if you like both CSM and PAC playstyles. Stargates on this map require ammo if in creeper, this is experimental feature. #Chess #Puzzle #Hard

Stargate which need ammo is surely your brilliant idea!  :D

When I first loaded up the map, I wasn't able to pause the game, or scroll/manipulate the view of the map.  I reloaded and this fixed the problem, but I'm not able to select any units once I place them.  I've loaded other maps, etc. and it only seems to be this particular map.  Is this intended or is this a bug? (I play on a laptop, and it is older than I care to admit)  If it's intended, then please ignore my post.  However, if it isn't intended, I'm curious if anyone else has this issue and , if so, any suggestions on what I can do to fix it.  I really like the concept of the map, but with not being able to tweak my units as I progress, it's too frustrating for me to try and complete.

Thank you for reporting this. Does anybody else have this bug?

Intended, this map will turn into PAC (Play As Creeper) and being able to destroy player units (before that) is kinda tricky to prevent in any other way. :)

Is it misplacements only or also moving your units?

Is it misplacements only or also moving your units?

It was more the misplacement of units.  For instance, I started chariging one of the portals before I really should have.  It became very obvious that this was a poor choice and was probably going to wipe out most of my progress.  Since I can't select the relay I couldn't stop the charging or destroy it (or I couldn't think of a creative way to stop it), so instead of losing just a bit of ground I did end up losing majority of my progress.  Of course, since this is a new mechanic, maybe I just haven't gotten a good enough grasp on the gameplay to avoid those situations.    I'm also kind of a one and done type player, so I don't typically go back and take multiple runs at a map.

In thinking about it, I understand a bit better what you mean by it becoming a PAC map, so the frustration may simply be my play style and how I'm approaching the map.  For what it's worth, I really like the charging idea for the portals, and I think it will be a n interesting tool for many of the map builders out there.

I hope that answered your question, and thank you for giving your time to creating maps all of us.

i enjoyed it....since the first thing i did was try to move the terps, i knew i had to choose carefully where i build stuff :P

Something went wrong here--victory, no PAC mode.

And there's little reason not to let us mess with the base as the only weapons we could build are beams--for which we have no use anyway.

Another interesting map, I am guessing that the use of a tower as an on/off switch was by design?  Not really sure how the gates were supposed to work unless it was just another way to drain energy.

Thanks and Cheers

Sorry, but I don't get the purpose of providing ammo to star gates.

Thank you for answer, in some situations letting creeper to destroy relay might work, but not using relays on this map would be best approach. ;)

Usually collectors and relays are only things that can connect into portal, but having relay already near to portal makes it more tricky, I agree.

Could you load your autosave slot and screenshot the map, please?

Not sure what you mean by tower, but giving gates energy enables them if they are in creeper. :)

If stargate is on creeper, it will require ammo to function, this is experimental feature and may not exist on future maps of this kind. :)

I was refering to the the emmiter enhancer towers, That go green when they are activated with AC, When I played I activated the right middle 1 first, no benefit, then the left middle again no benefit, then the 1 inthe middle bottom, Once that was active all my AC emmiters jumped from 30/40 to 120 or so Then when after the switch to pac once that middle tower was overrun the others stopped providing any benefit to the AC Emitters.

Sounds like bug, I changed enhancer tower so that digitalis would toggle them off but this doesn't sound intentional.  ???

Forge singularity seems to be another option to use for relay, just make sure that creeper reaches it. :)
