Here is my first try at a Yum version of a Cornucanis CWdig map... leaves a lot to be disired, but it is playable (well half of it, then it auto plays lol, I forgot some walls). I look forward to trying more this style! #CWdig

Sorry that I forgot walls in the second half of the map!

The first thing I could not figure out was how to change creeper/ac amounts coming from the emitters...
I would also like to be able to use Yum's gateways, but did not find them in the template...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Good first effort.  It's a pretty simple puzzle.  Some notes:


  • The code that visually flips the multiplier gates on and off always has the gates on.
  • As you said in your second post, the lack of walls at the bottom basically just puts it on autoplay.
  • I know you were having issues with the emitter values.  Make sure you figure that out because that's part of the puzzle of these maps.  Yum sets his maps up specifically so you have to search for a flip emitter that you can flip based on your current emitter income.  That's generally how all of his maps begin.
[li]Now that you have at least an understanding of the scripting, focus on building a puzzle rather than on the mechanics of the game.  The puzzle factor is what makes Yum's maps so fun.

Good job, though.  I know CRPL isn't the easiest thing in the world to work with.  I'm a professional programmer for a living and the syntax of CRPL makes my brain hurt.  Don't tell Virgil I said that though.   :)
