Damn! You just beat me by 2 seconds! Well, you deserve to be on the first place of your own map, smart lady! I'll pick the second space then. ;) Had fun finding the best lay-out! I guess I've let my blasters fire just a few shots too much....

Edit: And you beat me by 2 minutes in posting. :P Indeed didn't see your score when approving, but as there were not many maps in the queue I could approve it right away.

People beat my own map scores all the time.. I'm good, but I'm no pro.

And about your scores: yesterday I was in a more competitive mood, so check your other maps....

I might try again later, but I'm going out in one hour and I guess other people will appreciate it when I've taken a shower. ;)

What makes you think I didn't already see that yesterday? I recall you got an awesome score on The Engineer, and thanks for liking it.

I have no problems with people getting a better score on any of my maps, I welcome it, and often say "How the hell did they do that?".  Once I've completed my maps score I'm done. All that building, tweaking, and replaying.. its just too much.

Now other peoples maps.. well, I'll look at the highest score before beginning and usually make it a mission to beat it or outright slaughter it.. lol.. Funny thing bout it tho is that I never go back and check to see if I stay up there.

At the end of the day (or beginning of the next, yah know the time of day when you finally decide you need to sleep), I look back and know I had a fun day creepin and will consequently dream in creeper.. lol.. I can't be the only one.. can I?  :D
I'm a big gamer on most platforms, and go through games like water. I think I've had this game for over a month (tho seems much longer). I expected to be done with it relatively quickly, but I'm pretty sure I've played every day. Even when I know I have to go out of town, I download tons of maps to quench my thirst. This is a great game, and I'm so glad that anyone can submit maps.. it takes it to "A-Whol-Otha-Leval" (whole other level). lol.. To anyone who had a hand in getting this game started and out there, Thank you.

Oh, and thanks for allowing this map to go through quickly without the score. I know why my original score didn't come up. I played, submitted my score, then went to post the map. I originally opened the map to copy and paste what I had written for the description then realized that I wanted to change it.. and did so. I guess when I re-saved it, it changed the maps exact format, so the original score I sent didn't match up with the map that was submitted. It kinda worked out for me tho.. I got a better score posted now than originally.. you would have beaten my score.   ;)

I also don't mind people getting a higher score for one of my own maps. It does surprise me however, as I always assume I know the ins and outs better than anyone else, because of all the test runs and fine tuning. It will make me think and improve myself, so I'll definitely try again to beat it, and maybe learn a new trick/tactic.

I also look at the map scores (and comments) before playing. It gives a good indication what will be needed to finish it effectively, so I can guess how much energy I'll need before I start building other structures.

Yeah, I'm sure the custom maps have expanded the life time of the game by a factor 100. A very smart move!

I couldn't resist. On my second run I equalled your score. I didn't see any room for improvement, so I changed my lay-out slightly. It's the first map that made me count packets on their way to know when I would be able to build the next collector.... :P

if you like new maps try one of mine (wessew0 i have 6-7 awaiting publishing but otherwise try em ( other than Enclosed)

Ow, I've been reading too fast there....

I actually worked hard the second run, to see the rift open at exactly 3:07, while I was sure there was no second or blaster shot to gain. Then I saw the light and replaced one relay by 2 collectors and the job was done.
