The introduction of the packet filter probably makes this somewhat easier than intended. It's not so much positioning as management that makes the difference. (From my perspective. Your mileage may vary.) Screenshots from the first attempt where I didn't realize there was cause for hurry and took my foot off the gas to end up 10-15 seconds shy of beating the 15:00 'freak wave.' Attempt 2 was qualitatively similar, but better executed. The ending still has a lot of room for improvement. I'm not sure if it was worth pursuing caps in both the top right and bottom regions. Maybe something to try if I decide to play this map again at some point.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this, but use of blaster through-the-wall damage makes adequate management of the mortars significantly less painful as well. With the right approach I think it is a very fine and playable map.
