OK, this is my very first try with a bit of CRPL. Enjoy, even if it will take a while - and take care of the messages!

As I don't want to let you run in a mess I tell you what could happen:
Spoiler
When you use AC in the lower right area (a sprayer on the PZ on the right triangle is close enough to trigger) it will start to rain creeper... Not much but if you don't stop pretty soon you're lost. I was looking for a way to prohibit the use of AC in a special area and that was the most obvious thing for me to do with CRPL.

So don't tell me you were not warned ;)

This map will get lot of ragequit ratings, I think, sorry.

Most CW3 players still don't read forums. :(

The map is littered with CD messages warning against using AC in the bottom right. There's no chance anybody will proceed unawares. Great map Bilbo!

BilboGCL

Thanks - and even if I have to admit that I take a look at the ratings, I'm not staring at them.

Right, I almost bore-quitted. I'm currently only intermittently able to access the Internet. Played this map w no Internet, hence no insight into what was posted here. picked up the first message and then decided not to use creeper at all. I can save, but it's not clear how long the duration between cause and effect. I saved, tried a bit of AC and saw nothing, so I reconed there might be a substantial lag between using AC and when retribution occurs.

Played the whole map without AC assist. finished it almost suspected that those messages in and of themselves were the only deterrent.

Map appearance is very complicated and shows a lot of effort. Not immeasurably hard, and I might give it another shot now that I know where and when to not use AC. oh well.  The joke's on me, I guess. :)

For using no AC you made a pretty fast time! And sorry that you were bored - maybe you shouldn't play it again, I don't want to be responsible for death by boredom ;)

It would have been faster if I could use AC... :)

That is a lot of creeper to wade through, I see Karstens point! I enjoyed it though, at the end I decided to take AC as far as I could and paid a massive price, lost all of my reactors and a bertha that was almost built. By that point build speed was maxed so was able to rescue. Zonal triggers are a cool idea, be good to do a map with very obvious colour coded areas that trigger different effects. The guess work made it tricky to know how far you could go with AC so anyone could get caught out, I agree with Builder to an extent as it is a pain to loose your network and not have a save.

BilboGCL

A color code is a great idea - I was surprised by the effect of a sprayer on the right triangle, too and decided to put up a further message right to the PZ but I see the point that an area color code would be much better. My idea was, that after you have collected weapons and power on your way, the final fight is often a piece of cake - if you have i.e. three or more PZ-Berthas and a forge fire rate of 3 or more, almost every emitter can be taken out.

So yea, I think my criticism was perhaps unduly harsh - or at least came off as harsher than intended.  Apologies for that.

I did play it again, and also overshot slightly and got AC in the "sperrgebiet" (which also happens to be a real place, surprise, surprise).

Damage was devastating, and what I thought was my save was a clean start file. :(

So I played it 3 times. Not sure how much faster I can get, some of those emitters seem much harder to conquer that I expect them to be.

BilboGCL

Great, you've tried it again!
What a mess with the save file: If things go bad, things go bad. However, I had to try again, seeing that many score so much better than mine did indeed hurt a bit. So I tried really hard - I swear, I have no idea how RrR and D0m0nik can do their scores! Probably I won't even want to know how much work lies under these fast times. And I'm really happy to have reached your time! But I played it the 8th or 9th time and of course I know exactly to what point I can use AC.
Btw: I didn't feel offended at all 8)

I suspect RrR and I both did similar things. The main advantage is to send guppies and a few units to the square half way down the left, land a CN and stay an advance Base.

BilboGCL

I see - but I never had enough power to supply a guppy - but I use guppies anyway only if it's necessary...

But nullifying the right sporetower is of course something that helps later on, ten beams aren't too much O:-)

RrR

I didn't set up a base half way down but I did send the spore tower back where it came from at the beginning of play. I just managed energy carefully.

Spoiler
one of the emitters is vulnerable to a guppy-powered attack
