I like the design of this ship, looks like an effective battlecruiser.
If i'm correct, this is supposed to be used as a HQ, or at least something along those lines, as the center of the fleet, where the commander lays? Have you considered  modifying a custom ship with an HQ block on it to look like this and use it as an actual HQ?
