Although individually using only a small amount of energy, the sheer number of laser arrays leave this ship out of power quickly if unsupplied for more than a short period. Inspired by rival corporation ships, the longbow was designed as a relatively cheap and energy-efficient escort for forays into Particulate-heavy territory.
