CW3 via Steam crashes

Hi.
I've been playing CW3 via Steam for a long time. Just recently during a game it crashes with following message

oops!
The game crashed.
the crash report folder named "2017-01-24_141634" next to game executable.
It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game.

Pls advice.

Reboot your computer and see if the issue persists. Most often this is the first and final solution.

It been happening for last 2 weeks....  :(

The game hasn't changed in the last two weeks.  The likely cause is either something on your system, or something within steam.  Try turning off the steam overlay and see if that fixes the issue.  Right click the game in the steam client and choose Properties.  From there you can disable the overlay.  You can also uninstall and reinstall the game ( you won't lose progress) to eliminate issues with corrupt files you may have.

If that doesn't make a difference then try to think about things that might have changed in the last 2 weeks.  GPU driver updates, any unusual crashes of your OS, new software installed, etc.
