Heavy rain expected!

Warning the player that nullifying emitters would result in your entire base being flooded with creeper would have helped to avoid your low rating.

Interesting map. Remarkable start, need to be very quick and precise. The multiple unpleasant surprises makes it less fun, but definitely a mp in the top tier.

I rarely read forum posts before playing a map, but I'm glad I did for this one. Thanks, stdout for your comment about the warning. Since I never save nor pause this would've been bad for me.

Once you know the "surprise" the map is pretty easy. You have unlimited Thors that build MUCH faster than normal... you have gobs of AC at your disposal that you simply need to pump into the base, and with those walls there's no limit to how high you can pump the AC. Thors + AC = No worries and no need to pause or save. Trust me. Drench your base in a minimum of 10 AC and have 20-30 Thors spaced all over and winning will be easier for you than lying is for a politician.

And you can be done with the game in about 10 minutes of real time playing if you don't pause. Then you have time for some Particle Fleet before the g/f or wife catches you playing. Or worse, if they both catch you at the same time.  ;D

'Heavy rain expected!' was supposed to be a warning, I'll make it more explicit next time.

I fully understood the warning but still experienced an uncontrollable rage quit! I took a deep breath and tried again and it is a very good map, the level of devastation by the rain is harrowing though!

In all honesty, after reading stdout's comment I saved it right before destroying the first emitter to see what it would do. Once I saw that, I just flooded the base with AC, got like 30 Thors, and the rest was cake.

It's kinda like letting other people walk in front of you in a mine field. Because hey, you can never be too careful yanno.

But hey, at least he didn't mix this map with Sorrontis' no-pause-no-save cprl (my fav!)  ;D
