What's the point of all that energy in Ireland and Europe??

In France, it's all the troupes and industrial/agricol capacity behind the Maginot line.

In Eire, it's the fact that the country was neutral, but give some non military helps to the allies.

For Russia, it's the Eastern front, one of the biggest slaughter ever done.
