Version 1.0.1 is now available. If you are on steam, you should get is soon.  Look at the bottom of the main menu in the game to confirm 1.0.1 is the version.
If you are not using the steam version, you can get the updated version from here:

Version 1.0.1 Changes

  • Added option to not default filter a score table on the user name. There is a small checkbox on the left of the filter row for scores now.
  • Changed OSX to use the new unity renderer. Should fix the OSX multi monitor crash issue without the need for a command line switch.
  • Fixed issue with moving CM on built ship in mission editor and exception that ensures.
  • Fixed issue where an omni gets stuck on energy source.
  • Fixed issue where ships could overlap with groups at edge or corner of map.
  • Fixed issue in final story mission where placing the HQ right on top of the spot where it is supposed to go towards the end of the mission would show closing dialogs.
  • Make right click always work when editing rock burn area regardless of control settings.
  • Fixed problem with main menu panels not unlocking after stated required mission completion totals.
  • Fixed problem with ending mission dialogs showing when mission is set for failure on HQ destruction.
  • Add setting to graphics to make conversations appear instantly.
  • Make game only attempt to compile files with .prpl extension.
  • Fix issue with omnis take map space while moving.
  • Fixe issue with a guppy resupplying from a stunned energy mine.
  • Fixed typo in the editor module filters.
  • Fixed PRPL issue where GrowStruc always grows red struc.
  • Removed debug message: "Destroyed Enemy Doppel"
  • Corrected numbering in upload license.
  • Fixed problem that caused destruction explosion and game event message when placing an Omni directly onto enemy land.
  • Prevent an exception in GrowStruc when attempted out of the map bounds.
  • Added bounds checking in ShipPlan.GetModule in case things go haywire with a ship plan.
  • Fixed NullReferenceException at EmitterController.OnDisable () under certain situations

I was working in the map editor - placing energy pods (using the copy hot key "c") when the game crashed.
