Ship placement bug

Slight error in ship placement: a ship was allowed over a single square of rock.

Screenshot attached, when the mouse is clicked in that position, the ship moves over the rock that is partially hidden under the movement outline. Mission was Inception/Warp never changes. No rock burning had taken place, in case you want to try to replicate it.

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, because planetfall made the map (Exchange #2), but...

A Doppel which survived until everything else was destroyed became (or possibly began) invincible. I had everything in the default fleet blasting away, and it regenerated faster. I doubt that ramming would have helped. Top-left, existing to plug the particle stream.

Yeah, I've know about that limitation for a long time now.  My general way around it was to not make maps with single squares of land :)  It has to do with  the way ships check what they are over and it being done with a grid and the ship being at certain rotation angles.  The fix makes checking for collisions more CPU intensive (and it more programmer intensive) so I've not addressed it yet.

That makes sense. Bug? No! Undocumented feature.

What angle are you attacking from? That's the important bit. If memory serves you need to use an MK7 and attack from the bottom.
Pretty sure I'm supposed to be banned, someone might want to get on that.

The MK7 was not directly underneath, but would have been firing from a similar angle, to a similar point. The Doppel on the right was destroyed without issue.

If it's meant to be that tough, don't worry. I finished the map without issue, but for some reason I like to dealt up afterward (although hunting down all of the plasma is too much like work).
