I loaded this game a long time ago but lost it within seconds to minutes and had given up.  After I came back to it yesterday I realized that there was a way to get started by quickly going for the first and most important Tech with a little help.  After that it was an enjoyable battle.  Beautiful game - one of my most favorite now.

You're right, being aggresive is the only way to beat this map. Frankly the faster you try to get those techs the better for you.
