Nicely done, very enjoyable first map. All of the energy packs and slowly expanding digitalis provide a great opportunity to expand very quickly.

Did you forget totems though? There is no need for a forge when there is that much energy available anyway so did not take away from the map.

The total lack of aether is a pain--you can't use more power than you can store.

I have no problem with that...
In any case, if buildings are offset by one frame, the energy buffer will refill.

However, I have ordered 75+ power in parallel building and my base-stats CN kept up. The energy meter was in constant flux along the entire length, but the packet rate wasn't hurt.

No but you can use power extremely quickly until it is depleted. The stores here allow for very rapid expansion, I never use aether to expand energy storage.
