It felt too big, really. Once I had a solid foothold, nothing could touch me and it was just matter of mortars + guns + nullifiers, then move on to next island. And like that 20 times. At the end I felt tired :P

PS: some of islands dont have digitalis on them.

The description isn't accurate. Yeah it's long, but with all the available siphons, this is easy - it just takes a long time. I can see finishing this map in about 10 minutes game-time if you took enough time to set up between pauses. But that would probably take hours. I spent about 10 minutes just setting up an initial build b/c of all the stuff.

Mowing your grass with scissors isn't necessarily hard... it just takes forever.

I would've preferred a much smaller and much more challenging map. I feel cheated when I see "very hard map" and it's actually quite easy.

The concept is cool though. I like the islands that you can't shoot at directly, and all the digitalis adds a degree of difficulty, although 10 berthas on powerzones coupled with all the freeze AOO's make that pretty easy too.

Thanks for the map!

Thanks for all of You for comments!
For me this map was hard. Too many objects is too havy for my computer.  ;)
I created and will upload "CHAOS MEDIUM", which by my opinion has better balance,
not too big and with some new elements. Please enjoy!  :)
Good luck!

There are 2 islands in the middle without digitalis - nullify 1 thing there, clean creeper with few PZ turrets - from there you have 4 PZ for you, just put there beams and reactors for energy.
Also quick forge with syphons on all aether packs + 4 guppies in map corners help a lot.

Johnny is right, sub 10 mins easily possible for experienced players, just a matter of pausing A LOT. I took one hour for a 13 min time and I was *relatively* leisurely on the pause button. I think 7 or 8 mins is possible but I certainly don't have the patience.

If anyone is struggling to complete this map, beginners guide:

Spoiler

Land 3CNs and exploit all available siphons to build reactors, forge and beams.

Then build terps and create some 3x3 height 10 platforms for cannons set to digitalis to stop the digitalis spreading along the white paths. Closer to the sources the better.

Use all early aether from siphons to upgrade energy and fire rate and range and you are not in any danger.

Use bertha + freeze to take most platforms. Land freeze just before bertha strikes, upgrade build speed.

Use pause a lot, the siphons will give you a lot of energy and aether very quickly, take your time and use it wisely. Pause is P or tab.

Since creeper won't attack you (only spores), you are free to build pretty much wherever you can! Get a forge ASAP and get as many little aether packs as you can. If you feel like spending 10-15 minutes on a setup, you can make safe builds to pretty much every part of the map. Just use relays and try to keep them out of the "zapping range" of the runners.

As for energy usage, ALWAYS (with very few exceptions) use energy packs to BUILD REACTORS. A 250 pack will build 5 reactors (in most maps). You're spending a lot of energy to get a continuous supply of energy. Think of it like paying $600 for a self-replenishing gas tank. Costs a lot at first, but you make it up down the road. You should be able to connect at least 10 energy siphons.

Need a pic of how to start? I'd say that about 80% of this setup didn't work out but you only need about 50% to build enough reactors to "turtle up" or "hunker down" or w/e. Get as many freezes as you can, too. Hope this helps!

That's paranormal thing , only spirits know answer to it. :D

I have something to tell you about our your parents..

I started almost exactly the same as Johnny but also built a few terps and cannons to cut off the spread off digitalis as early as poss.

Concentrate your first attack on one of the big areas so you free up a load of PZ, connecting your bases without disruption from runners helps too as energy is then shared by all bases.
