Finally!! The 3rd map!! What's new since the last map: Added a new weapon unit that you can rescue (like a survival pod); Survival tech pods modification; New pods to be rescued (read the help info); A night that turns into day, as you rescue the new pods; Added a decorative mist for projectiles; SUPER EPIC ENDING!! It's 1-2 hours of pure action!!! You can't stop paying attention for a second or you may end in trouble, doesn't matter if you "survived" 30 minutes, 1 hour or even dominated most of the map!

This is my most hard-worked map ever.I got nice headaches when making and fixing bugs, but after finishing it my CRPL experience has increased a lot :P

Hope you guys enjoy it!! Don't worry with the dark screen, it will become lighter as you collect the new pods.
There's a help info (press H when playing), it will require quite reading but you would not understand what's going on without reading that.

I forqot to tell in the map description "What's new since the last map:", but there's one more thing:
The timing of colorful towers that give tech/resource crystal are now displayed by a 0 to 100 % timing. It's very better than that giant text number (like seen in "Real Nightmare" and "Desert Hills");
Emmiters that spawn with an effect (like the emmiters that spawns when a sleeper lands) while you collect the pods;
The boss appears at the ending sequel.

Please don't destroy all enemy units before collecting all the 10 pods (tech pods doesn't count) or you'll lose *ALL* the big fun.

Some possible questions:

"It is said the new pods contains missiles and AC bombs, but how can I use them?"
- They will only be used at the epic ending I made, you need to collect all the 10 pods to activate the ending sequel.

"I can't even survive! How could I go out and rescue those pods!?"
Spoiler
- You have a new best friend for now. His name is TERP :)

"I didn't understand well. I have to rescue what pods? There's 3 types of pods, and 5 units of each.

This is the AC pod. It is not destroyed by the creeper. You must rescue it to reach the ending. It also increase your ore efficiency limit by 2.

This is the missile pod. It is not destroyed by the creeper. You must rescue it to reach the ending. It also increase your energy efficiency limit by 2.

This is the survival tech pod. You don't need to collect them to win, but it is destroyed by the creeper (instantly), and will increase your weapons upgrade limit by 1 and build speed limit by 2, if rescued.

(I don't know if the images were correctly uploaded, because I don't know exactly what to put between the [image] [image])

What image for missile pod?

JoaoPistori

Thank you for your help. The last image is the one called as "collector" in the concepts page. I copied the link here, hope it works.

Ohh, yeah. It worked

The strain of the dark screen is giving me a headache  :o

JoaoPistori

Well... the next version I'll try to simulate the night with a different method. The dark screen may be the reason of most players rating 1 or 2 points of 10

knighty

is there any easy way to make it lighter or is it a lot of work ?

looks like a really fun map but it's too dark for me to play, not sure if it's my eye's or my screen!

Yeah, sometimes if you're doing a small map you can do that, but if it's large it's hard to see what you're doing.
I get stuck because I don't see where the creeper will flood my base. Not sure but I collected a few defense turrets and the screen didn't lighten up so I'm not sure if it's me. Also what do you mean when Lia says you can press shift-d to remove the pollution?
Currently ghosting, don't mind me.

Actually I said to press the shift+d to be easier to identify the terrain at the beggining (before all the digitais become active). Screen wasn't too dark for me but we have to consider that I already knawn all the terrain and flood places, so, I thought removing digitalis growth would be easier to players view the terrain. Anyway, I think I'll put a command key wich will add/remove the dark screen.
It is just a crpl core with a black image and some transparency.
There's a possible bug:
After rescuing all the 10 pods, the dark screen will be removed. But if you save the map, and load it the dark screen may appears again. I checked it and removed this bug for the next map.

The map is too dark as i can't see anything.

Same here, didn't even try to play it after loading.
The concept seems interesting but maybe with a mist where the CN's removed the mist on a range and each captured pod removed mist on a specific range.
Don't know if it's possible but the 2 maps of the trilogy i played are really great. Too hardcore for me but great.

The map is not actually too hard if you can see it but the visibility makes it a lot harder.

Really good map in the end with some interesting surprises. Would be well worth re-releasing but as a day time version!

This map is pure chaos. It's a good idea, but there's WAY too many things going on at one time. It's insanity to keep track of stuff. No offense, of course.
Considering how many turns my life has taken (good and bad), I'm still fairly neutral to it all. I take the hits, I don't react overly.
