The present map has been espAcially designed for Girls, Old Timer who spent nights and days on Kid Chamelon and, of course, clever people and Creeper World living Gods. All others will hate it. I am sure. But I understand and forgive you in advance. And, as a I am a cool Old Timer, I give you a clue : read carefully (I mean, like a litterature student) the opening text... I know, this is boring too and you have already start to hate it... By the way, thanks for the comments on my previous maps. Forum soon.

Loved this one, the timed spores really made it.

Nicely done RrR, incredible time, I'm gonna have to have another look at this one  :)

Had another look, and found half a trick

The ready to go nulifier is a decoy!

Your time is not so bad either (though I am sure Alter Old would trounce it). I see you also worked out how to start without precipitating a disaster.

Thanks you all for playing (or trying to) this funny (I hope it is) tricky (perhaps unfair ?)  map. i saw that some *Creeper World Living Gods* already made astonishing time... Incredible !  For the others, *Creeper World Only Angels*, who try-try-try, who gave up or are about to, I want to give you the following clue :

Spoiler

Aleph 2 is an excellent french scifi novel about a kind of hyperspace or subspace allowing fast travel into space. Alephs are spots, in between space, of non-matter behaving like matter... so you can stand on those spots (as you could Stand on Zanzibar in early 70's). Yes ! You can be there, really ; even if you can't touch, see, feel them.

Maybe this clue is clear as dark matter... Hope it helps.

Have fun.

My time was 26 mins originally, you made me think a little harder!

And sure enough Alter has set a truly bonkers time!

i dont understand, about getting out of the starting disaster

Spoiler
Before you unpause destroy the nullifier, possibly take out one of the reactors to build a new nullifier. There are two spots below your landing zone that trigger the spores, hover an unbuilt nullifier over the area to work out where they are

I have found the mechanical difficulty, but am stumped as to how to prevent the CN from being destroyed by Digitalis. If I can survive that, presumably the rest is possible.

The Invisible Man is a nice touch.

Probably, one day, I shall return, and find the way. Until then, I admit defeat, or a reasonable alternative.

However, this brings to mind the quote: "In defeat, malice. In victory, revenge!"
But until I can make a map as good as this, I can do no more.

Note: (No more: a phrase which here means, try repeated, futile, stratagems; until my tired, shriveled frame collapses into the uncaring void.)

If you place the CN as far left as possible, it won't be on the digitalis. Eventually the platform will flood with creeper (unless you work very fast)
Spoiler
keep moving your CN to stop it being returned to orbit.

Been there, tried that. As I said, may return someday.

Wow, great map! It makes ya kinda explore and try to figure out what's there and what's not there. I totally laughed apple juice out my nose thanks to that initial spore "surprise".  :o  And I didn't take much more than an hour longer than Alter Old and Dom so... yeah, rock on.

Spoiler
1) Save the game often as you experiment with different stuff
2) There's hidden terrain all over the map. Go find it.
3) If you focus on taking out the 25-spore spore towers then as long as you take them out, you'll live.
4) Cool stuff happens about 45 minutes into the game.
5) Hover with your CN when you have to. Runners can't hit a flying CN, and your CN regenerates health while flying.

You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

GoodMorning

I returned, older and somewhat wiser...

That said, the

hidden terrain

was... interesting.

Once you know it's there, hitting G can help.

The fact that it exists gives me insight into how everyone got the times they did.

That's probably the longest 3/4 hour game I have played. (thought-hours: probably 4-5+)
