I like that a lot of these newer maps seem to be different than the "usual". This is almost a puzzle map but it also requires some patience. Either that, or play at 10x speed but that won't help with your overall time.

Kalek, I really like this map. I imagine some people might get frustrated with it and rage quit. I would like to see maps like this coupled with Sorrontis' "no-pause" mod. That'd be a pretty tricky and brutal combination  ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

This is the no pause mode code, if you want to use it kalek:

TRUE PersistCore

TRUE OperateWhilePaused
IsPaused if
    UnpauseGame
endif

What's the point of the aether cache on the SE island?  I had three units left in the cache when I finished the map.

And please, don't do a no-pause.  That's a royal pain for anyone who might have to do something else while playing a game.

Doesn't opening save menu pauses even in no pause mode games?

Good point. I often forget that many people probably play this at work.  ;)

Ideally a "non-pause" game would be like other Player vs AI RTS games... you can pause the game, but not build or see the screen during the pause. That would give people the ability to pause the game yet still get the RTS feel.

I don't really understand how that is a good point? When you close the game it automatically saves, So if someone makes a no pause game just close the game and it will be saved and you can come back at a later time to finish it.

I actually find the wave of gaming that is going to saves only at checkpoints to be more annoying. And if your at work you should be working not playing games  :o :o :o, I never play games at work  ::) ::) ::) ::)
