Sorry, i mean like the creeper comming up from the ground as I try to cross, made me change my strgatiy, lol.

I played this after a very long day at work, I had no idea what was going on.

After trying for a while to figure out what was going on I gave up going forward and resorted to bomber/guppies/bertha attacks on the emitters, just about worked!

Welcome to the club. There appeared to be some kind of trigger activated for the big Creeper spurts when you moved toward a target. I was able to finally finish it - only because I was too stubborn to quit. Brute force seems the only approach.
