Argh--I was taking the island piecemeal, built up enough strafers to take out the spore towers and then noticed the inhibitor was unprotected and had an emitter perfectly placed to use it's PZ to get the inhibitor itself despite the inhibitor being in badlands.

Fun fact, the Inhibitor does not emit a lot of creeper. Use this to your advantage maybe?

Maybe just maybe you only need a couple Berthas on power zones to cut creeper around it and keep it off?
