I'm currently working my way through this, but I can already say that this is a fantastic map!  Great work!
Omnipotence doesn't mean the ability to do what is logically impossible. It's possible, therefore, for God to create beings with the kind of free will that can choose between good and evil, but he can't also force those creatures to choose good. If he forced their choice, it wouldn't be free.

Hmm...I seem to have hit a bit of a snag.  I've destroyed everything on the map except for the two Thors but I'm not getting a "win."  I obviously can't destroy the Thors since they are above ground and nothing hurts them.  All other enemies are gone.  I even got the "win" message.  It just won't let me submit my score.  I thought maybe I missed the screen so even have tried leaving the map using the menu.  No luck.  Anybody else seeing this?

I am sorry to hear that. I have completed the map 3 times after being uploaded just for fun but I did not have any problems with submitting.

If you don't mind to try again (hopefully you will enjoy completing it again).

Thanks a lot for your comments!

Edit: If you are going to play the map again here is a little tip;

Once the nullifier destroys the emitter on the bottom side you can quickly replace it for another one.

This new one will let you click on it and support the one on the top.

Edit2: Once you finish the map just let a couple of spores to freely shoot the map just to make sure they destroy any tower that might be there unnoticed.

I hadn't tried this, but mainly because I didn't need to. I didn't lose the bottom emitter.  Here's how to keep it from being destroyed:
Spoiler

Let the digitalis fill up with some creeper.  Once you have a decent amount in it (well before the nullifier begins to be completed) simply change the digitalis tool to red and destroy a small section of it near the nullifier.  This will release creeper into the void and onto the island which will destroy the nullifier.

Yeah, I tried that...no luck.  Thanks for the thoughts though.  I'm guessing it has something to do with saving and loading the map.  I know that has caused the occasional glitch in the past.  I don't mind playing it again.  It is a great map.

One thing for you to be aware of as a PAC map maker though:
Spoiler

It is possible to "hijack" the Terps to make the map easier.  The bottom Terp can reach the little section of land to the south of the north east island.  I set that land to Terp to a lower height so the creeper could easily get in and take out the collector and the relay which made that island much easier to take over.

I mention that because some people actually use that as necessary to play their PAC maps and wasn't sure if you knew of it.

Oooopsy I didn't know about the terra, this was definately not done on purpose. Thanks a lot, I will keep that in mind on next map :)

This will be in a while though, I did spend the whole weekend doing this map and judging by the scores I do need to try harder :(

mzimmer74

I wouldn't worry too much about scores.  Some people will enjoy your maps, some people won't.  Just make maps that you enjoy playing and there will be some who will as well.

I've got the same problem as mzimmer74. I get the you have destroyed all humans notification but not the victory screen. I replayed and had the same problem.

Like mzimmer74, I saved the southern emitter.

My time is about 30 minutes. A reasonable portion of which is simply waiting for the thors to run out of power

Enjoyed your map, hopefully you find time to make another!

I also found that a but if time was just spent waiting for the thors to run out of juice. Would be more interesting if they were connected to the network but there was a way of getting past them or knocking out the supply to them.

Good map though, cheers

I just played again and let the vanilla emitter in the south be nullified. I got the victory screen on completion. I think the regular unit needs to be destroyed to meet the game's victory conditions.

I think there are solutions for mixing regular units with PAC units so the regular units don't need to be destroyed for victory. If you cannot find the solution in the previous discussions on PAC maps, ask in coder's corner.

Thank you, wAz, for a great map - it's on my Faves, and I really enjoyed it. :) I'll definitely be playing it again.

ditto
Looks like victory conditions are failing because the southern emitter is a "normal" one, which default to having CountsForVictory true.
I've checked this in the editor.

Hi, thank you all for your kind comments and suggestions.

I am sorry to hear that I have messed up with the winning conditions.

I will make a time slot in the near future for a map, I have a "Totem Land" in mind, I would like the handycap to be only one crystal to complete the whole map.

Edit: I have attached the save.cw3 in case someone wants to polish it and upload it with no bugs.

Thanks in advance, regards.

Linden

I hope your 'near future' is very soon, wAz. :D

I had no problem with the winning condition - I didn't have to do anything special to get the Victory, and I just wanted to let you know. Thanks again. :)

like most PaC maps i loved this one. the only suggestion i have though is the thors. being not connected to the network meant all they did was slow the map down. however if you connected them to the network the map would be near impossible. i think thors just weren't meant for PaC maps.
