:) Anyone want to share the quick finish technique?

RrR

Kill the digitalis at both sides!

But on the left runners come before a PC is built.

That's when the fun starts
Spoiler

Keep moving the PC so it can recharge
Nullify some nearby nests to make space for PZ PCs
Oh yes you'll need some power.
And luck to get an AC runner when you need it.
More tricks help too

I was eating dinner and I heard the word 'tricks' come into my mind....  I wonder what they RrR?

You can do this without ever dealing with runners.

Spoiler

I disabled the digitalis before it reached the first nest on either side of the map.
Put a PC right up against the emitters on each side.
Put two CNs on the left and one CN on the right. Put the CN right up against the PC close to the middle of one side of the CN. That creates the shortest packet path and a lot of narrow timings are all about path lengths.

You can actually get the PC on the left built and firing before the first runners appear.
After that, its a cleanup operation which I probably can do faster than I did.

I tried a couple of times, with the same plan as you, but couldn't get the left pc built in time (but only by 1 or 2 packets). And then oudles of runners instantly appear

Spoiler
The trick for dealing with them is to use the otherwise useless shields (disarmed) to distract the runners so the don't stun the pc attacking the digitalis

I did have to try a few times. It is so close that it depends on where the PC shoots first. If it doesn't shoot at the choke point then it won't work. Also ensure you have 'destroyed' the nearby shields. Here's the lower left after 19 seconds:
