The message capsule says we need all three types of guppies.  For what?  I beat it with two.  Most of my base was bombers, the first raid took out the spore tower, the second took out the northern emitter, the final took out the southern.  While I was doing that I saw the AC pool had covered the PZ of the upper emitter and I used that to kill the central emitter.

Sprayers and AC Guppies are probably faster and/or more consistent than Bombers, but there will always be alternative ways to skin the cat. The message capsule is there as a hint to the newer and less experienced players. I'm sure there's someone that can beat the map with one bomber and a roll of duct tape. :)

I hit the south emitter first, with 5-6 sprayers supported by bombers, 6 AC guppies and 1 packet guppy, used a PZ sprayer to help grab the middle emitter, and then a PZ nullifer takes out the last emitter and spore tower. Berthas help soften up the creeper pool.

That spore tower isn't a big threat. Only 2 spores and default spore health. Sure, they payload is big, but it doesn't take much beam to knock them down.

I never built a bomber, and I didn't use an AC guppy, either.

I nullified the AC emitter on the left side, then built a relay on its PZ. The relay allowed me to connect all the other islands together. So a guppy never landed on the main island.

Doh! Rookie map maker mistake. I made sure you couldn't reach with relays, but I forgot about nullifying the AC emitters! Time for a custom CRPL AC emitter that doesn't nullify. ;)

or just set to not leave a PZ?
that'd punish them for that sneaky, friendly fire style tactic! ;)

I love it!

Or just move the island slightly out of PZ range.

Holy crap that's sneaky. Never even occurred to me. After turning off Creeper visibility to see the terrain, I beat it the same way Grayzzur did. Great map. I love the ones that require some creativity to solve.
