Hi guys, the world meso in the apex sector appears to be bugged, when i attempt to land on the planet it stops going in circles and my ship studders around it. This leaves me unable to land or start the mission, since it has a shield key for farbor its kind of a pain! If anyone knows how i could go about fixing this that would be amazing. Thanks.

Do a full system reboot and see if that helps.  If not, then look here on disk:
c:\Users\YOUR_USER\Documents\creeperworld3\data\sectors\internal\1\story_7

That directory contains the information about the system that Meso is in.  While the game is not running, move the files in that directory elsewhere (back them up) then launch the game again and see if that helps.

k tried that, all that was in there was the system.dat file, removed it and relaunched the game problem is still there :(

How powerful is your system?  Have you had any similar issues with other maps?
Meso had embedded graphics and takes up about 1.8meg of disk space.  It will also use more memory than some other maps.

If you don't have a "Meso.cw3" file in that directory, then the game hasn't managed to extract the Meso mission from itself and write it to that directory.  This could be because of a memory issue or a disk issue.

To further diagnose the problem, after running the game and attempting to launch Meso, look at this file:
c:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\CreeperWorld3\log.txt
Post that file here...

There should be more to the log... things like "Shader Quality", "Game Version"... more lines like that.

The log file gets created each time you run the game, so make sure to start the game then proceed to Meso and try to launch.  Then, without exiting the game copy the log file somewhere and then attach it (click "Additional Options" below your post and then choose "Attach").

lbilliard

ahh sorry about that here ya go

knucracker

Yeah, that's a problem :)
Somehow the game is indicating it can't decompress the mission file.  This could indicate that one of the resource bundles for the game is corrupt.  To fix this, you could try to just reinstall the game.  Uninstalling and reinstalling won't kill your game progress.  That is all stored in your Documents\CreeperWorld3 directory.  If you are extra paranoid you can backup that directory before reinstalling.

Or, the problem could be caused by the game looking at a location different than you think for the Meso.cw3 file.  If there is something odd going on with user accounts, or you are running the game under a different user, then the game could be looking for the Meso.cw3 file under a different user.  If you suspect this, then do a general search for Meso.cw3 on your hard drive (and remove it).

the uninstall did the trick, was worried about losing data thats why i didnt try! Thank you very much for the timely response. Keep on being awesome!
