Better than a lot of 2000/.01 emitter battles. 

Was anyone able to do a straigt up the middle direct assault?  I found I had just a little too little firepower to build the nullifier when I got there.   So I had to come in from the size and use the PZs.

Yes, if you build enough Berthas :)  I had 50 on the lower islands with Auto targeting, and one on each of the four lower Power Zones manually targeting the spot between the two inhibitors.  Then I just bulldozed my way up the center with morters and terps, and some beams on the sides.  At the top I put up a couple sprayers and cannons just in case, but the berthas did a good job of keeping the creeper at bay.

I used the exact same strat. great map this one. I was able to brute force my way past the grid with a combination of bombers and bertha's. after that is was only a matter of grinding my way up through the middle.
