The first of a series I'll be making in which I'll try to recreate each of the Arc Eternal maps, each as a smaller version.

To show people that smaller maps are often a lot more fun?

I like the idea (probably should have thought of that myself) but I suggest only doing the maps of which you  think that can be improved by making them smaller (chanson, farbor, vapen, not the tutorial maps and arca).

edit1: if you do remake tutorial maps, don't leave them in their original difficulty, haven't played this one, but karstens reaction makes me think it was too easy
edit2: just played it, as easy as original and terrain was a bit different, looks like you didn't notice there's no level 2 and 3 terrain in original map (not criticizing you, I like the idea, but for  this map I agree with karsten's comment)
I might do the same thing sometime, but then I'll scale the map using crpl and ramp up the emitter :P

Pretty sure I'm supposed to be banned, someone might want to get on that.

To J:
Oh,well. Just because the original map didn't have level 2 or 3 terrain doesn't mean it's to be mentioned or makes the map difficult. Plus, I'll probably won't be using CRPL to approximate an appropriate size for the smaller version of each map.

To planetfall:
Choix... Not as hard as Farbor, but still had me stuck for a long time. That one should be an easy one to create the script (just take the 10 creeper-1 sec- current location script and modify it so that it produces creeper at random locations other than Lvl 10 terrain or in the base), but may take a while to create the proper effect of an unstable set of slip emitters.

To both of you:
CRPL isn't my strong point, so maps like Farbor, Vapen, and Choix may take a while before they arrive. I may upload a pre-CRPL-included version of those maps at least within a month before I upload the actual smaller version of the original map, with CRPL.
Considering how many turns my life has taken (good and bad), I'm still fairly neutral to it all. I take the hits, I don't react overly.
