Steam Beta

I am looking for around 5 volunteers for testing the steam version of CW3.  The requirements are the following:
- You must already own a copy of CW3.
- You must have a steam account.
- You understand that there may be bugs and that you may be asked to reset any steam stats and achievements you get in the game during the beta.
- You agree to provide feedback on you experiences.

Things are going to move quickly, so for now I only want 5 people.  Within a week I may expand that by 5 or 10 more (depending on interest).  Within a week or two of that the game may launch on steam.  So this isn't a long drawn out thing... I mainly need people to play with the build and see how it handles with regards to stats, achievements, and cloud syncing.

In the event I get more than 5 responses right now, priority will be given based on the OS variety you can test on.  For instance, Linux and or OSX testers will be given priority over windows testers (those users can also of course test on windows as well if they want to).  The reason for this is that Linux and OSX testers are harder to find, and I would like at least some independent verification of success on those platforms sooner rather than later.  Also please note that by OSX or Linux user I mean someone who is already running those platforms and has experience with them, not someone who will try to setup a linux box right fast.

If you are interested, then send me a PM (click on 'My Messages' at the top of the forum) and let me know you are interested by sending a message to me (virgilw).  Be sure to tell me what platform(s) you will run on.  Note that I still want windows testers... so don't let the priority of OSX and linux testers scare you off.  Also note that if I get a lot of responses I can't take everyone right now.  I may just have to randomly choose.  But fear not, I will expand the beta very soon and the game will be released very soon after that.  So you can all start enjoying the steam integration very soon no matter what.

Congrats on CW3 getting greenlit! Fantastic game. Already own the drm-free version.

Were you able to find some Linux testers for steam? If not, I'd like to volunteer. Since a few days have transpired since your request for volunteers, I'm guessing you are good.

Within the next couple of days I will be opening up to a healthy collection of new beta testers.  I just have to get a new batch of beta keys from steam first...

Makes me wish I could beta test the game on Steam. Sadly, I don't have time to play on the machine I use Steam on.

Hey, I've loved the game so far.
I'm on windows and will beta test it if you like. I'm not the quickest at clearing levels, but I can beat the game in about 2 days and test any functions you need me to.
