CW3: the game so far (for me)

I've played through the first three systems so far.
I have to say that I am very positive surprised - 'wow factor' achieved, congratulations!
You might want to put the game on GOG.com as well to give you more visibility.

The 'terraform' capability gave a whole new meaning to strategy and do the points of power - putting weapons, collectors or collectors on them is real sweet treat.

I could not do any upgrades however - in previous games there was an upgrade system for packet speed, etc. for each map, so one could 'strategize' with the upgrades, too.
I hope they become available at some point during the game.

Is there a way to charge the Sprayer and 'puke' all AC everything inside (like the Maker in CW1)?
Sprayers do not release anything when destroyed - where does the loaded AC go on destruction (self-destruct or destruction by creeper)?
It'd be nice to load them up safely inside the base, move them out to unload a huge load and return for charging (much like the Bomber, but it would be slower and it would deliver a much larger load, precisely where I want it). Or, maybe just add the Maker as it was in CW1 - without shooting capability (?).

I absolutely love the music, though it becomes boring after a while - new tracks maybe?

Again, congrats, it's a game well done!

Upgrades become available later in the game.

As for your sprayer ideas, I do have information but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say it.

Cheers!

If it's a secret, keep it a secret. It's good to know that there are thing coming/planned.

I can only speculate about the story at this point, I wonder if a flash-back into CW1 would fit in (with CW1 maps and units) ;-)

I think I can reveal the secret in a quote from the big G:
Spoiler
(21:50:33) Grauniad: "always on" Sprayers will be in the same build as Colonial Space.
[close]

And concerning the flashbacks... it does contain references to CW1 and some players have made remakes of various CW1 maps.

Great, looking forward to it!

I meant those maps when you look at the surface sideways and you dig down (or up sometimes), like this:

Spoiler
I just unlocked those Big Berthas. Wow!
And when placed on places of power: triple wow!

To my knowledge, there are no CW3 maps based on CW2 maps.

Map Makers: Would someone please ensure that I'm wrong soon?

I don't think I can quite manage that much, but I have considered how to recreate the Beacon tower via CRPL (Though I haven't actually tried to build it yet). Something along the lines of lighting up an area, and sending fake packets from the position of the Command Node (or a custom Liberty Ship?) to each unit requesting packets within that area. The hard part in my opinion would be things like getting the beacons to work together, or having packets curve around a dark spot. The quick solutions I can come up with for those problems seem a bit too intensive to be doing that often.
If anyone does try this, I hope this helps 'em out a bit.

It's in an upcoming update.

One more thing came to my mind as I was playing more.
The Sprayers should have a configurable auto-load-level-thingie to configure how much AC should be loaded in them when connected to the network.
In the Forge, there's a % bar, guess something similar would be nice.

There reason is that I'd like to have a group of sprayers that soaks an area, and another group that goes in to suck up the leftover.
If there was a way to pump AC back into the network (and through that, into the storage), this second group could do more rounds - would be great.

Thanks!
