Video Card Errors

I've attached some images of errors that I get with my video card.  It seems to get progressively worse and worse.  I've blown out my entire PC, so it's not a dust issue.  I've cranked up the fans to high and watched the temps, so I don't think it's overheating.  I have no idea what's happening.  I just finished using the un-install tool from AMD's website, then using their tool to get the most up to date drivers.

Any ideas?

I've uploaded some the images to imgur as well: http://imgur.com/a/C8E9I

I had a video card that did something like that a few years ago. Had odd artifacts in some games. Not exactly the same as your pics, but similar. The video card was still under warranty, so I contacted tech support, and after I described it to them, they said that it sounded most like some bad memory on the card, and they replaced the card with a new one. The replacement solved my issues. My best guess in your case would be something along the same lines. I think you may just have a bad card.

It's really hard to tell. It may either be an issue with the card, the monitor or the cable. Without having the ability to switch units around you may have to decide which is the least costly to replace on a trial basis.

If you have a friend, you can try using their video card on your system and your card on their system, then see where the problem moves to.

The fact he got screenshots from the computer itself, it really is the card.

True, and well caught. If it was the external devices, then the captured image would not appear corrupted when viewed on other devices.

i had a card that got overheated and acted like that, so It was fine for about 10 minuttes playing, but got worse and worse until the safety shut down the computer.

So, I've decided I need a new video card.  After the input from this thread, and the WoW tech support forums, I don't think it can be salvaged and I don't have the patience anymore.

Which card should I buy?  I've been looking here: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html.  I'm looking in the $200ish range, I'm not sure what I'm leaning towards, but I did find this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121649

Any thoughts or insight? I do have 2 monitors, one HDMI, the other DVI.  The only graphically intense thing I run would be WoW or Diablo III, or perhaps whatever free game might come with the card from NewEgg, so I don't do any really intense stuff.

*Edit*
After some more newegg surfing whil I'm supposed to be working, I'm leaning towards this one:

While every video card I own is a Radeon HD 7000-series, I'll tell you that I'm thinking right now the scales is a little tipped towards Nvidia. I wrote a bit about it here. However,  there definitely are good deals on Radeon cards, though.

The card you linked looks great. Make sure your power supply has the right connectors for it and can support the card's power requirements. Also check physical space in your case.
