this is all about managing your energy early on (being efficient in the first few seconds/minutes makes the difference with most maps)
pause the map on the black loading screen (press "p")
grab 8 nearby gems and unpause or use the "n" key to advance frame by frame until your are gaining energy again. then grab another load of gems (perhaps 8 or ten more?) and then start to build 6 or so blasters (in pairs don't overload the energy demand) in the central chamber, keep them back a bit from the entrances to start with (i put 2 in the cavity on the left looking up the left "downpipe" for drones and 2 in the right hand one also with 2 more left and right of the central chamber when i had the energy for it later)
while the blasters are building grab more gems and dig out spots for the nullifiers near each gate that the drones aren't going to path through.
perhaps more blasters at this point, don't build too much at once
keep grabbing gems in small groups (still pausing and unpausing alot or using "n") and start to build a nullifier near each gate. you don't have to fight upto each gate, just send the packets to nullifiers and hold that central chamber.
hope that helps  8)
