Won't deny that helper, It was a slog'ish' but what are you supposed to kill with besides blasters, launchers, and ac?  ??? I hate giving CB and DB so i really don't know...But i agree, slog'ish' Helper...but, it was a trip down memory lane.
All of my maps take a few things:
1. Patience.
2. Saving often/trying different things every time.
3. Knowing that the simple is always wrong.
4. Love for your great Angel who spends hours and possibly days on maps that people hate. :D

I've seen map makers who allow a limited number of the Experimentals. It allows the player to take out the giant masses of AC - but requires some thinking of how you are going to attack them.

IMO - CW is all about tactics and figuring out the fastest way to finish each game. Games that have only one basic method of attack don't allow for the various skill levels of the players.

Likewise, forcing everyone to dig through layers of 25 Cost Ground - for no reason - is also a limiting factor in the "fun quotient" department.

To emphasize: You DO put together some fun and interesting sequences in many of your games and I do like playing through those. Emphasize the fun and eliminate the ummm 'slog' parts and everyone is going to have a good time - including you.

One thing i wish the game had for CB and DB...If you can only build x amount. Then when it gets destroyed, you can't rebuild it. That i think would've been better then i probably would use the DB & CB more...
