ok we appear to be inside a shield of Anti-Creeper, which we can reinforce with makers! however we don't have enough AC or makers to match the shear volume of Creeper coming at us. we need to dig to reveal the AC emitters and the vacuum makers that are ready to assist, while building makers to reinforce the shields. then we can attack... oh, by the way, you only have the parts for 12 blasters and 8 launchers, good luck with that!

Not sure how this one is possible. Several tries and several hours, all I can do is sit there with a shield of AC and never cut into the creeper at all. Any clues on how I can beat this in the 6-8 minutes claimed by some of those scores? :)

There is no special trick here. Build lots of reactors, maximize fire rate and clear the damned creeper.

click on the "show fields" button this shows you the limits of the AC shields, then, once you are safe behind the shields, you can move 6/12 fully charged makers into one flank of the creeper and burst the millions of AC. that should let you kill the first two emitters, perhaps three. get some blasters and launchers to hold back the creeper and some repulsors going to shove AC into the creeper, then sweep around the emitters killing them as you go.
or just build tons of makers and charge them and go for all the emitters at once!
my score isn't great cos i don't try for speed on my maps, but the first tactic should be doable in 10-15 mins, just takes a few goes to pin it down, and playing frame by frame (with pause and "n") with frequent saves also helps! ;)

Huh, still no dice. I sent 25 fully-charged Makers (7.5M apiece) and it only made a dent for a few seconds. Must be some bug in the version I have.

Well, I've enjoyed your other maps, and admired your sigquote too. Catch ya later,

cheers for the comments! 8)
shame this isn't working, might be worth redownloading if you want to play it but no worries if not.

If you upgrade unit range a "fully charged maker" is 60m, not 7.5 - 7.5/15/30/60 for no upgrades, 1/2/3 range upgrades. (And I have already forgotten if this map has tech or not, so if it doesn't, disregard this.)

teknotiss

oh yeah i missed that. upgrading range increases maker storage volume.
i put 3 launchers in the center and the other 5 on one flank with 6 blaster and some repulsors too. that should weaken a flank enough to get into with 12 full charged makers or so

I finished the map without using charged makers... It's of course quite time consuming using only "normal" makers, but it is possible ;)

Turning the field viewer on shows you the big "underground" fields, which route the AC upwards into the shield... Using these fields, you can build a large underground AC factory, which delivers AC into the shield structure... With the help of launchers and blasters you can manage your way through the emitters...
As I said, quite time consuming, but a fun way to finish the map, at least for my part ;)
